2014年3月27日晚19:00，在厦门大学嘉庚主楼5楼514报告厅响起了热烈的掌声，本院师生正在欢迎德国弗莱贝格工业大学前副校长Horst Brezinski教授，今晚他将为我们带来一场关于德国高等教育的讲座，题目是 Accreditation in Germany: Emergence, Targets and Process of Accreditation。
   此次讲座是厦门大学第36期高教讲座。教育研究院史秋衡教授是此次讲座的主持人。19:00的时候他准时宣布讲座开始，大家对报告人Horst Brezinski教授致以热烈的欢迎，Horst Brezinski教授在掌声中拉开了此次讲座的帷幕。此次讲座共分为七个部分：Introduction、The Development and the Goals of the German Education System、The Emergence of the Present German System of Higher Education and its Present Structure、Accreditation: Definition and Principles、Peer Review: Definition, Function and Approach Towards Positive Change and a Sustainable Quality Culture及Is Employability Increasing? – An Outlook，其中Horst Brezinski教授对第四部分做了详细的阐释，生动的语言加上清晰的图表，使得我们对该问题的认识更加深刻了。
   在Horst Brezinski教授报告后，多位同学与其进行了交流，其中有位博士生和教授交流了将近半小时，充分展现了我院研究生在对待学术时的认真态度及求索新知时的谦虚及勇于发问的精神。
   最后，在史秋衡教授的点评中此次讲座圆满结束，为了表示对Horst Brezinski教授的感谢，大家再次投以热烈的掌声。
